Russia Part 1 - Trinity Cathedral

Trinity Cathedral was the regimental church of one of the oldest guards regiments in the Russian Army. Originally a wooden church was built on the site in the 1750s. Construction of this new church didn't begin until 1828. The tower out front is called the Column of Glory. It commemorates the Russians liberating Bulgaria from a Turkish invasion in the 1870s.
